about

THIS ALBUM IS A FREE DOWNLOAD

This was the first album produced by Willie Oteri after his move to Austin Texas in 1998. It includes A list session players from Austin, Brannen Temple – drums, Michale Malone – tenor and soprano sax, Chris Maresh – bass and Chris Tondre – guitar (on right channel), Willie Oteri – guitar (left Channel)

The band was originally called Matematoot but later became Jazz Gunn.

The recordings were made by improvising in the studio and then writing down the parts we liked and re-recording them the next day. Brannen's Jam is just that, the first jam of the day and totally improvised. We liked it as is.

Recorded at Top Hat Studios in Austin Texas, February 2000

Engineered by John Harvey
Mixed by John Harvey and Willie Oteri
Mastered by Jerry Tubb at Terra Nova
